Understanding the Invitation

Our Cake Reception Invitations highlight a few locations that are significant to our story. Here's a bit of an explanation.

Los Angeles International Airport

We met when Cora gave her friend (and now bridesmaid) Jenn Norton a ride to the airport on March 15, 2009.  Jenn was leading a trip that Trent was also going on, and he asked if he could get a ride with them.  Trent likes to give Cora a hard time because as he walked up to the car her first thought was, "That guy looks likes he's going to be annoying."  She soon found out she was mistaken.  Even though it took a few years for us to start dating, it all worked out in the end, as you can see by the fact that you're reading our wedding website.

Forest Home
Cora's parents worked at the camp Forest Home during the majority of her childhood.  Trent spent around 10 summers as a counselor at the same camp.  Before we became "Facebook Official" we visited the camp together, where we had a great talk about the direction our relationship was going.

Disneyland
We both loved The Magic Kingdom before we met and have enjoyed many date nights there. This is where Trent asked Cora two important questions, to be his girlfriend on March 17th and to be his wife on December 15th.
Hollywood

Hollywood Presbyterian is where the Wedding Ceremony is taking place. It has some sentimental value because it is the church that founded Forest Home where Cora grew up. Also it is where Trent took acting classes through high school. Most of all, when we walked in, both our jaws dropped and Cora said "we don't need to look anywhere else."

1BL- First Baptist Lakewood

Finally, 1BL, our home church! This is not only the place that is hosting our cake reception, it is also our church home. Trent works at First Baptist Lakewood, and Cora serves in Kid's Ministry doing check in. We both love being at the church together, side by side.  Trent says, "Having Cora by my side at church is such a gift.  We are thrilled to share this special day with our church family.

You may be asking, who drew this? We are grateful for the talents of our friend Stephanie Momary. who drew this for us, and we love it. If you need someone to draw something, you should hire Stephanie.
